I’m so grateful that you’re here. I hope to inspire you, learn from you, and move with you on this journey to a happy, healthy, intuitive you!

Empowered beyond movement synthesis sessions are for you where we intentionally combine movement and psychotherapeutic processing. Maybe you are someone recovering from an eating disorder or disordered eating trying to navigate back into movement or moving gives you a lot of anxiety but you aspire to do more. This is for you!

Why should I choose you?

Because I am not going to promise you unrealistic expectations that diet culture has placed on us as humans. My ultimate goal is to help you view movement as fun rather than a chore, to empower you to not feel as though you are in a constant battle of changing the outward appearance of your body. My goal is to eliminate the “yo-yo dieting and exercising mindset” that takes such a toll on our bodies. I take the time to get to know the real you, to help you reframe your mindset surrounding your self-worth and movement. And because I promise you will leave our sessions full of laughter feeling strong and empowered.

What are your qualifications?

I obtained my License and Masters in Social Work, specializing in grief, eating disorders, and body positivity. I’m certified through the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM) for personal training with a specialization in functional mobility and strength training.  

What does a personal training session look like?

Every session will look different for each individual. This is depending on your goals, aspirations, mindset, abilities, and what you have available to you at home. I begin each session with a body check in, mobility and blood flow before we move into the movement and then end with another check in and cool down, stretch.

Are sessions done in person or virtually?

GREAT QUESTION. Given the state of the world, most of my 1:1 sessions are virtual. But if you are feeling moved to workout in person please do not let that stop you from reaching out. We have the ability to meet outside at a park or in a studio space. At this time, my EMPOWER membership / group classes are virtual.

How much are training sessions?

Prices vary depending on needs and desires within the session. You can click here to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to chat more. I certainly never want finances to hold you back from moving your body forwards and cultivating a healthy positive mindset.

What equipment do I need?

You can have everything to nothing. You have your body and that is the greatest tool in the shed! Items I recommend having handy depending on your goals are a yoga mat, dumbbells (weight will depend on YOU), mini resistance bands, jump rope, and kettle bell. You can have some of these, none of these, or even all of them. I program each session specifically for you with what you have available to tailor to your goals and desires.

Am I able to train if I have a medical condition?

This varies on your doctor's recommendation. With permission from your doctor, I will program your sessions to fit your needs.
